Oregon and Stanford emerge from semi and quarterfinals

First, Stanford inched by Georgia in the quarterfinals, then they found themselves in another close match with Auburn. Thankfully for the Cardinal, individual champion Rose Zhang, Aline Krauter senior from Germany and recently crowned Elite 90 Award recipient, Brooke Seay, took care of business. Seay had the pleasure of finalizing the victory and birth into the championship match.

On the other end of the bracket, the Oregon Ducks easily prevailed over Texas A&M, 4-1. The Ducks dominated, with the final putt dropping by the hand of Hsin-Yu Lu on the par-3 16th. Not without a fight, Blanca Fernandez Garcia-Poggio dramatically aced the same hole – right when she needed it – to extend her match.

The Ducks-Cardinal matchup is a major milestone:  the Pac-12-only championship guarantees a record 200th title across all sports for the conference.
