Tuesday, September 13 marks “Thank a Golf Course Superintendent Day,” which gives us yet another opportunity to thank Grayhawk’s Director of Agronomy Ernie Pock and his superintendents Ryan Voyles and Victor Ramirez.
Of their many accomplishments, for the second year, with one more to go next May, Grayhawk has hosted the NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships. Right after the this year’s tournament, Fox 10’s Robby Baker caught up with Pock to talk about the tournament as well as Pock’s long family roots in Arizona golf.
