Sixteen-year-old Nikki Oh became the youngest player to win the Arizona Women’s Amateur Championship. In a 2-under-par performance, she outlasted University of Arkansas’ Kendall Todd and three-time AZ Women’s Am champion Ashley Menne.

Todd took the first-round lead, before Oh pulled even with her heading into the final round with Menne one stroke back. Oh fired her second-consecutive 1-under 71 to edge out Menne by a stroke and Todd came in third place, two strokes off the pace.

“I feel like I just played really simple and smart golf this week,” Oh said. “I like to be really aggressive, but my dad [caddie] chose smart lines even when I was going for the green, so I just feel like I played really smart golf but played just aggressive enough.”

Congratulations are also in order for Mia Cesarek in the Championship Division (Net), Robin Krapfl in the Field Division and Kelsey Cowart in the Field Division (Net).
