With great enthusiasm, our team at Grayhawk Golf Club looks forward to hosting next year’s NCAA Division I Men’s & Women’s Championships. As everyone begins to jump on The Road to Grayhawk, we would like to take a moment to congratulate Stanford and Duke on their wins as well as recognize all of the teams that competed in the tournament. Well done and hope to see you next year in Scottsdale, Arizona!

The final round of the Thunderbird International Junior concluded with two first-time invitational champions. William Mouw of Chino, California, went wire-to-wire to win his second tournament in the past month to become the Boys Champion. And, Alexa Melton of Covina, California, came from behind to win in the Girls Division.

As it reaches a momentous milestone, the Thunderbird International Junior teed off this morning with 78 players from around the world, Boys and Girls ages 12-19, representing 16 states and 12 countries. They’ll be playing for top honors in one of junior golf’s most prestigious tournaments.

Grayhawk Golf Club is set to host the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Division I Golf Championships for three consecutive years beginning in May 2020. College golf teams are already taking a sneak peek.

The fastest-growing junior golf programs in America, 2019 PGA Jr. League recently teed off with regular season matches running through the summer. All-star teams are then assembled to compete in sectional qualifiers in August followed by regional qualifiers in September.

As the moon rose above Grayhawk Golf Club, Team California (San Diego – Encinitas Ranch Golf Course) went undefeated at the 7th PGA Jr. League Championship presented by National Car Rental, to capture the team’s second crown and the fifth for the Golden State.
